Kliff Kingsbury Rumors Linked to Lamar Jackson, Ravens After John Harbaugh Fired
Following the Baltimore Ravens' firing of head coach John Harbaugh, a candidate for his replacement has quickly emerged.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported that "many believe" the Ravens, paired with star quarterback Lamar Jackson, would be "an ideal landing spot" for former Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Kingsbury has been requested for interviews by the Ravens and the Tennessee Titans:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that the Commanders and Kingsbury "agreed mutually to part ways" on Tuesday following a disappointing 5-12 finish to the 2025 season. NFL insider Jordan Schultz noted that key Commanders offensive players, including second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels, were "disappointed with the team's decision" and felt "blindsided by the move."
Kingsbury long has been known as an innovative offensive mind, and he has experience working with dual-threat quarterbacks like Jackson. He led the early development of Kyler Murray in four years as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, and he guided Daniels to NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors last season.
Jackson is a two-time NFL MVP who has yet to achieve playoff success, so the Ravens will undoubtedly be searching for the right person to help them break through and earn a trip to the Super Bowl. It remains to be seen if Kingsbury is looking to return to head coaching, so Baltimore could also explore bringing him in as its offensive coordinator under the next person at the helm.
It won't be easy to replace Harbaugh after 18 years of his leadership, but the Ravens felt it was the right time to move on and usher in a new era.
Tennessee, meanwhile, is looking for a full-time option to replace former coach Brian Callahan. The Titans are coming off of back-to-back 3-14 seasons. While the team struggled overall, Cam Ward would give the next head coach a quarterback to build around.
