Rodgers, Steelers on Historic 'MNF' Streak Entering NFL Playoffs vs. Stroud, Texans

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be facing the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card Round on Monday Night Football, and they will be hoping to keep a historic streak alive.

ESPN's Adam Schefter pointed out that the Steelers will be riding a 23-game home-winning streak on Monday Night Football into the playoff matchup.

It should be noted that the Steelers lost to the Washington Commanders during the 2020 season that was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but that game was moved to 5 p.m. and wasn't considered a Monday Night Football game.

Pittsburgh will be led by a quarterback who thrives under the bright lights, as Aaron Rodgers is known for his heroics in primetime.

The 42-year-old is hungry to add another Super Bowl title to his mantle before he calls it a career, so he will be looking to start off the postseason on the right foot with a vintage performance against the Texans.
