Which QB Do Raiders, Jets Pick in Todd McShay's 1st 2026 NFL Mock Draft After Season?
NFL draft analyst Todd McShay released his first 2026 mock draft on Monday.
In McShay's 2026 mock, he projected the Las Vegas Raiders to select Oregon quarterback Dante Moore with the No. 1 overall pick before the New York Jets added Indiana passer Fernando Mendoza at No. 2.
"From talking to people I know in the league, there are some people who view Moore as the greater upside, chance to be something a little bit better than maybe Mendoza can be," McShay said on The McShay Show (16:40 mark).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Both Moore and Mendoza have helped lead their team to impressive 2025 seasons, as the Ducks and Hoosiers are set to face off in the College Football Playoff semifinals on Friday.
Moore has completed 72.9 percent of his throws for 3,280 yards and 28 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions, averaging 8.8 yards per attempt.
Meanwhile, Mendoza earned Heisman Trophy honors for a 2025 campaign in which he completed 72.3 percent of his throws for 3,172 yards and 36 touchdowns. He was also picked off just six times.
Mendoza had the edge in the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, as the Raiders were projected to add him at No. 1 while the Jets picked Moore with the No. 2 choice.
While Las Vegas and New York still have to navigate through the pre-draft process, Mendoza and Moore are early candidates to be off the board with the top two picks.
The first round of the 2026 NFL draft will take place on April 23.
