NFL Exec Questions Matthew Stafford's Rams Ability to Win 2026 Super Bowl
Despite finishing the regular season with a 12-5 record, the Los Angeles Rams reportedly haven't convinced everyone that they're one of the top contenders for a Super Bowl title this year.
The Athletic's Mike Sando spoke to an NFL executive who questioned whether the Rams have what it takes to make another deep playoff run that ends with hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
"I think the Rams have the highest highs of any team in the playoffs, but can they have the consistency to win the Super Bowl?" the exec said. "I don't know if I could say that."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Rams closed out the regular season with a 37-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Star quarterback Matthew Stafford solidified his case for NFL MVP with a four-touchdown performance, giving him a career-high 46 touchdowns on the year against just eight interceptions.
Still, the Rams suffered back-to-back losses against the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons in Weeks 16 and 17, fueling doubters who feel the veteran-laden squad could be running out of gas.
Los Angeles will open the postseason on Saturday in the NFC Wild Card Round against the Carolina Panthers, who won their regular-season matchup 31-28 in Week 13. If the Rams aren't at their best, they could be looking at another upset and an early exit from the playoffs.
