NFL Fans Want Deion Sanders as Browns HC to Join Shedeur After Kevin Stefanski Fired
The Cleveland Browns will now begin a coaching search after firing head coach Kevin Stefanski on Monday.
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has plenty of familiarity with Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, coaching his son throughout his college career with the Buffaloes as well as at Jackson State.
Fans expressed a desire for Cleveland to consider Deion on social media.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Buffaloes went just 3-9 during their 2025 campaign, struggling to make up for the absences of Shedeur and 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter after they were both selected in the NFL draft.
They previously went 9-4 in 2024 and 4-8 in 2023.
Deion also helped lead Jackson State to a 27-6 record in his three seasons with the school.
If Cleveland is searching for a new coach that can work alongside Shedeur, there isn't an option that has more familiarity with him than his father. CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones reported Monday that the Browns are "preparing for Sanders to be their starter" under center in 2026.
The 23-year-old started the final seven regular-season games for Cleveland as a rookie, completing 59.2 percent of his throws for 1,353 yards and seven touchdowns compared to nine interceptions.
Still, it isn't difficult to imagine the Browns choosing to fill the vacancy with a candidate that already has NFL coaching experience as they look to improve upon a combined record of 8-26 over the past two seasons.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Daniel Oyefusi listed Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy and Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher as possible options.
Deion may find himself in the mix as well.
