Tom Brady Weighs In On Matthew Stafford, Drake Maye NFL MVP Debate on Video
Now that the 2025 regular season has officially come to an end, many feel that the frontrunners for NFL MVP are Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.
On Sunday, Fox NFL analyst and former Patriots star Tom Brady weighed in on the debate between Stafford and Maye, and he surprisingly didn't make the homer pick.
"I think what Matthew Stafford's done this season has been absolutely remarkable. 46 touchdowns, for any quarterback, that's a dream season, so he's been spectacular," Brady said. "Drake Maye, on the other side, has done some incredible things with Josh McDaniels in their first year together. Drake's got a long career ahead, I'm sure he's gonna have many opportunities. I'm gonna say Matthew Stafford."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At 37 years old, Stafford put forth one of the best seasons of his lengthy career by throwing for a career-high 46 touchdowns against just eight interceptions. He led the NFL with 4,707 yards while completing 65.0 percent of his passes.
Maye wasn't too far behind Stafford after taking a massive leap in his second year in the NFL, ranking fourth in the league with 4,394 yards and third with 31 touchdowns against eight interceptions. He helped the Patriots tie for the best record in the NFL at 14-3 and earn their first AFC East title since 2019, which was Brady's final year with the franchise.
It's clear that a strong case can be made for either Stafford or Maye, but MVP voters could lean toward the veteran following his resurgent season.
