Randy Orton Attacks The Miz on Video in Return to WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton made his return to television on Friday's edition of SmackDown and attacked The Miz with two RKOs.

Orton appeared on TV for the first time since the Oct. 3 edition of SmackDown. During that card, Orton and Cody Rhodes lost a tag team match to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Now Orton is coming back with a vengeance based on his actions Friday.

The Miz opened the show by cutting a promo Friday and airing some issues.

Orton then interrupted the proceedings.

The Miz did try to make a friend, though, and proposed forming a tag team, MizKO.

Orton wasn't having it, though. One thing led to another, and Orton gave Miz an RKO.

The crowd at KeyBank Center in Buffalo wanted another one. Orton, who was already playing to the crowd with a T-shirt representing the Sabres (winners of 10 straight), obliged the fans.

Later on, Orton caught up with WWE Universal champion Cody Rhodes in the back. Needless to say, Orton made clear that he has championship aspirations.

Rhodes has his own problems, as he'll defend his title on next Friday's edition of SmackDown in Berlin against Drew McIntyre in a 3 Stages of Hell match.

We'll see what transpires down the road, but for now, Orton is back, and he means business.
