NFL Exec Dishes on Maxx Crosby Trade Rumors, What Raiders Could Get in Potential Deal

Andrew PetersJan 1, 2026

The Las Vegas Raiders are one game away from entering the offseason, and one of the biggest looming questions is about Maxx Crosby's future.

But it may be unlikely that the Raiders move on from their star defensive end. One league executive told Fox Sports' Eric Williams that Las Vegas will "probably not" trade Crosby.

It makes sense that the Raiders may not be interested in trading Crosby, considering they gave him a massive three-year, $106.5 million contract extension last offseason.

But if the team decides to find a deal for Crosby, the executive told Williams that the Raiders "could receive a similar haul to what the Dallas Cowboys got back in a trade with the Green Bay Packers for edge rusher Micah Parsons."

The Cowboys landed a pair of first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark in return for Parsons when they traded him in August.

Crosby has been one of the best pass rushers in the NFL since he was drafted in 2019. In his last fully healthy season in 2023, Crosby logged 90 tackles and 14.5 sacks.

In 15 games this year, Crosby has recorded 73 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception. The Raiders recently placed Crosby on the season-ending injured reserve, and he is expected to have knee surgery.
