Lamar Jackson Injury Update on Status for Ravens vs. Steelers AFC North Title Game

Zach BacharJan 1, 2026

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson says he is "100 percent" going to play in Sunday's AFC North title game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be out there," Jackson said Thursday.

Jackson has dealt with health concerns throughout his 2025 campaign, as he missed three games earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury.

While he eventually returned and helped the Ravens bounce back from a 1-5 start, he appeared on subsequent injury reports with ankle and toe issues. Jackson didn't miss time due to either injury, though.

The two-time MVP eventually suffered a back contusion during Baltimore's 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots on Dec. 21, which caused him to be sidelined during a victory over the Green Bay Packers in Week 17.

Jackson has remained efficient both in and out of the pocket when available, though.

He's completed 63.7 percent of his throws for 2,311 yards and 18 touchdowns to go along with six interceptions in 12 games. Jackson has also rushed for 340 yards and two scores.

The Ravens own an 8-8 record this season, sitting at No. 2 in the AFC North standings. The team needs a win Sunday to make the playoffs and secure the No. 4 seed.

Tyler Huntley has started two games at quarterback this year as a replacement for Jackson and will be available to step in if Baltimore's starter gets banged up again.
