Fans wrapped up 2025 with a holiday-themed look inside the NFC East when Hard Knocks streamed Tuesday night on HBO Max.
Episode 5 started out with a glimpse at locker room gift exchanges and other holiday events, including New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart welcoming kids to a signing event.

Fans got a look at the Philadelphia Eagles, the only NFC East team still in contention for the playoffs, bracing for a Week 17 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
The Eagles ultimately claimed a 13-12 win in part thanks to Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship, who talked about their friendship and their unique joint celebration.
The episode also gave a glimpse into how other members of the division are fighting for late-season wins despite their elimination from postseason contention.
Hard Knocks showed Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer talking about honoring late defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who died in November, with a "relentless play style" ahead of his team's Christmas Day win over the Washington Commanders.
Hard Knocks also gave a glimpse into the Giants' effort to snap a nine-game losing streak with a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 17.
The episode gave a look into team's reactions to players being named to the 2026 Pro Bowl. For the Commanders, that lone representative was punter Tress Way, who will start for the NFC this February.
One highlight of the episode featured Commanders linebackers Frankie Luvu and Bobby Wagner discussing why Santa enters houses through a chimney rather than a door.
Hard Knocks is set to continue with Episode 6 next Tuesday, Jan. 6. Later episodes could potentially focus more on the Eagles as the division's other three teams head home for the winter.
Before then, the Cowboys will close out the regular season on Jan. 4 at the Giants, while the Commanders will wrap up play later that day in Philadelphia.
