Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In 2023, the Cowboys rewarded Diggs with a five-year contract extension worth $97 million that included $33 million guaranteed following back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances in 2021 and 2022. Unfortunately, his career has taken a major downturn since then.
Diggs tore his ACL two games into the 2023 season and was limited to 11 games the following year before needing surgery once again. He missed time in 2025 due to a concussion and appeared in just eight games before being released, producing 25 total tackles.
Despite his lackluster production in his final year in Dallas, Diggs' confidence hasn't wavered. After he was released, NFL Network's Jane Slater reported that he told her he is "healthy and motivated as he looks to join another team looking for another piece to add this postseason."
Green Bay is taking the chance that Diggs can be a difference-maker in its pursuit of a Super Bowl title. The 27-year-old should fit right in alongside Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine as the Packers try to make their way through the playoffs.
