Russell Wilson Jokes About Jameis Winston, Jamal Adams' Heated Exchange on Viral Video
New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson made light of his role, or lack thereof, in a sideline argument between teammate Jameis Winston and Las Vegas Raiders safety Jamal Adams.
Winston appeared to take exception to Adams jawing with Giants quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney, and he confronted the three-time Pro Bowler. As this unfolded, Wilson lingered on the periphery with his focus elsewhere.
The veteran signal-caller jokingly compared himself to "the Dad that lets the two sons fight":

That wasn't the only heated moment on the sideline during the Giants' 34-10 win over the Raiders. Las Vegas cornerback Chigozie Anusiem and New York cornerback Rico Payton got into a shoving match after Payton sent Anusiem into the Gatorade coolers on a block.
Sunday's contest was dubbed the "Tank Bowl" because the loser would gain the inside track on the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL draft. The Raiders are now alone at the bottom of the standings with a 2-14 record.
Despite having little to play for, neither team was merely going through the motions in Week 17.
