2. z-Chicago Bears (11-5, NFC North)
3. z-Philadelphia Eagles (11-5, NFC East)
4. Carolina Panthers (8-8, NFC South)
Seattle took care of business Sunday, defeating the Panthers 27-10 and moving within one win of winning the NFC North and the top seed in the conference. Zach Charbonnet rushed for 110 yards and two scores while Sam Darnold completed 18-27 for 147, a touchdown, and one interception.
Carolina, with an opportunity to win the NFC South outright amid Tampa Bay's struggles against Miami, failed to rise to the occasion. Bryce Young threw for just 54 yards and an interception while Rico Dowdle carried 12 times for just 59 yards.
As a result of their loss, the Panthers now enter a win-and-you're-in game against the Buccaneers in Week 17.
Wild Card Teams
5. x-San Francisco 49ers (12-4; +1200)
6. x-Los Angeles Rams (11-4; +425)
7. x-Green Bay Packers (9-6-1; +1900)
There was no change in the Wild Card seedings through the early portion of Sunday's games, though San Francisco's game against Chicago takes on greater meaning amid Seattle's win and their showdown in Week 18.
In The Hunt
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9; +7500)
The Buccaneers could have taken over control of the NFC South with a win over Miami. Instead, the defense allowed Quinn Ewers to complete 14-of-22 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns, and De'Von Achane to rush for 83 yards in a 20-17 loss. As a result, the Week 18 matchup with Carolina will be for the NFC South title.

Division Leaders
1. z-Denver Broncos (13-3, AFC West)
2. x-New England Patriots (13-3, AFC East)
3. x-Jacksonville Jaguars (12-4, AFC South)
4. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7, AFC North)
New England kept pace with Denver in pursuit of the top seed in the AFC with a dominant victory over the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon. Drake Maye completed 90.5 percent of his passes for 256 yards and five touchdowns while the Pats threw up 42 points against the hapless Jets.
Jacksonville, meanwhile, withstood a strong test from an Indianapolis Colts team that did not allow its elimination Saturday night dissuade them from playing their hardest. Trevor Lawrence threw no touchdowns and an interceptions, but he made up for it with two rushing touchdowns.
The Steelers, with a chance to sew up the AFC North, lost to the Browns, who prevented Aaron Rodgers and Co. from finding the end zone.
Wild Card Teams
5. x-Houston Texans (11-5)
6. x-Los Angeles Chargers (11-5)
7. x-Buffalo Bills (11-5)
Houston's win over the Chargers Saturday ensured the Bolts would have to go on the road in their pursuit of a Super Bowl berth. The Texans' defense is stingy and quickly becoming the difference maker in its win streak. Its refusal to give up points is the stuff of a Super Bowl champion and should bear watching from here through the playoffs.
In the Hunt
Baltimore Ravens (8-8)
For all of the issues that have faced the Ravens in 2025, the team has the ability to cash its ticket to the playoffs with a victory in Week 18 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The division is still in play and, with Derrick Henry coming off his best game of the season, one has to wonder if Baltimore can go on a run, make the postseason, and genuinely challenge for the biggest game of the year.
Eliminated
Indianapolis Colts (8-8)
Miami Dolphins (7-9)
Cincinnati Bengals (6-10)
Kansas City Chiefs (6-10)
Cleveland Browns (4-12)
Tennessee Titans (3-13)
New York Jets (3-13)
Las Vegas Raiders (2-14)
