Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Despite the win against his former team, which he played for during the 2021 and 2022 seasons, fans raised concerns about Darnold's play heading into the postseason following a shaky performance against Carolina.
The Seahawks' inability to put away the Panthers raised concerns, as Young struggled mightily, throwing for just 54 yards without a passing touchdown while adding one interception and a rushing score.
The Seahawks outgained Carolina 19-10 in first downs and limited the Panthers to 1-of-11 on third downs, holding them to just 139 total yards of offense.
Seattle's defense was strong throughout the game, but the Darnold–led offense remains a potential issue in games like Sunday's moving forward.
The Seahawks improved to 12-3 and entered Sunday's matchup having already clinched a playoff spot. The Seahawks will face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18 with the NFC South title on the line.
