'F--k the Chiefs,' Jonathon Cooper's Deleted Tweets Slam Broncos' Rival in Photo
After the Denver Broncos officially clinched the AFC West title on Saturday night, linebacker Jonathon Cooper made it clear that there's no love lost between them and their top division rivals.
Cooper took aim at the Kansas City Chiefs in a series of deleted tweets, including one that said, "F--k the Chiefs."

Of course, Cooper's disdain for the Chiefs is not unfounded. Kansas City reigned over the AFC West for nearly a decade, winning nine straight division titles until this season.
The Broncos completed a season sweep of the Chiefs with a 20-13 win on Christmas Day before a loss by the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday gave them their first AFC West title since 2015.
The Chiefs had represented the AFC in each of the last three Super Bowls, but it quickly became clear that their yearly deep playoff runs had caught up with them. They were 6-5 before a losing streak that has now reached five straight games knocked them out of playoff contention for the first time since 2014. To make matters even worse, Kansas City lost star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a season-ending torn ACL that also raises questions about his status for the start of the 2026 campaign.
Now, the Broncos will try to focus on wrapping up the No. 1 seed in the AFC as they try to follow in the Chiefs' footsteps as an AFC West champion to make it all the way to the Super Bowl. Perhaps a deep playoff run will ease the tension Cooper and other Denver players feel toward Kansas City.
