Latest Travis Kelce Rumors on Leaving Chiefs, NFL Retirement and Timeline for Decision
Many are wondering if the 2025 season will be the last for Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, and one insider provided an update.
During Sunday's episode of NFL GameDay, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that there "certainly is a possibility that Travis Kelce played his last game at Arrowhead this past week. He's gonna take some time after the season is over to consider his fate and see what he wants to do, whether or not he wants to play a 14th season."

Rapoport also noted the Kelce has not yet made a decision on his future, and if he chooses to continue his legendary career, he won't be leaving Kansas City.
"My understanding is, if he was gonna play, it wouldn't be for anyone else besides the Chiefs," Rapoport said.
Kelce appeared to be in a reflective mood as he soaked it all in while walking off the field at Arrowhead Stadium following Kansas City's 20-13 loss to the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day, which was the team's final home game of the year.
At 36 years old, Kelce proved that he still has a lot left in the tank, earning his 11th straight Pro Bowl selection. Following Thursday's game, he's totaled 73 catches for 839 yards and five touchdowns this season.
Despite Kelce's impressive performance this year, the 2025 season has been a disaster for the Chiefs. The three-time defending AFC champions missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014 and lost star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a season-ending torn ACL.
