'We Got Our Ass Whooped,' Says Packers DB, 'Couldn't Stop the F--king Run' vs. Henry

Doric SamDec 28, 2025

The Green Bay Packers are reeling after Baltimore Ravens star running back Derrick Henry had his way with them in Saturday's game, and one player had a blunt assessment of the team's performance.

"We got our ass whooped," Packers nickel Javon Bullard said after the team's 41-24 loss, per The Athletic's Matt Schneidman. "Call it like it is. I mean, s--t. We knew what they were doing. They ran the ball. We couldn't stop the f--king run. Point-blank-period. And we got to fix that s--t tomorrow if we want to go past the wild-card game in the playoffs. If we don't, we'll be sitting our ass right back in Green Bay."

Henry racked up a season-high 216 yards and tied a career-high with four touchdowns to help the Ravens keep their playoff hopes alive. If the Pittsburgh Steelers lose to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, a Week 18 matchup between Pittsburgh and Baltimore would decide the AFC North crown. The Ravens would be eliminated with a Steelers victory.

The Packers already clinched a playoff spot when the Detroit Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day. Green Bay's loss to Baltimore extended its losing streak to three straight games and allowed the Chicago Bears to clinch the NFC North title.

"This was just embarrassing," Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper said after the game. "They came out to play. We didn't."

The Packers had once appeared to be among the top contenders in the NFC, but their recent skid has raised questions about their chances to make a deep playoff run. The team will try to end the regular season on a high note when it faces the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18.
