Week 17 NFL Playoff Picture, AFC, NFC Bracket Scenarios Ahead of Sunday's Games
The NFL Playoff picture is as clear as it has been to this point in the season.
The NFC East and North, as well as the AFC West, have been decided, with the Eagles, Bears, and Broncos clinching their division crowns and a spot in the postseason.
There is only one spot left in each conference, with the possibility that both will be determined by the end of Sunday's games.
What are those spots, who is playing for them, and what does the rest of the bracket look like?
Find out with this preview of the playoff scenarios ahead of Sunday's Week 17 slate.

Division Leaders
1. x-Seattle Seahawks (12-3, NFC West; +550 odds to win the Super Bowl)
2. z-Chicago Bears (11-4, NFC North; +1800)
3. z-Philadelphia Eagles (10-5, NFC East; +1000)
4. Carolina Panthers (8-7, NFC South; +15000)
The lone spot still up for grabs in the NFC is the South crown as the Panthers and Buccaneers continue to battle for the division championship. An upset win by Carolina over Seattle Sunday, and loss by Tampa Bay to Miami, would give the Panthers the division title. A loss, however, would set up a winner-takes-all match-up in Week 18.
For the top-seeded Seahawks, the NFC West is theirs if they beat Carolina and both the Rams and 49ers tie or lose their respective Week 17 matchups. Otherwise, the division will not be determined until next week.
Wild Card Teams
5. x-San Francisco 49ers (11-4; +1200)
6. x-Los Angeles Rams (11-4; +425)
7. x-Green Bay Packers (9-6-1; +1900)
The 49ers, once afterthoughts amid injuries and Mac Jones starting in place of Brock Purdy, can now seize the NFC West title and the top seed in the playoffs, with wins in their final two games. It will not be easy, though, as they face Chicago this week and finish out their regular season slate with the Seahawks in what is suddenly a very high-stakes matchup.
The Rams can win the division and regain the top seed, but they need a bunch of help from Carolina and Chicago this week.
In The Hunt
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-8; +7500)
Baker Mayfield and Co. need to win out in order to stay alive in the playoff hunt. The schedule is favorable, with a Week 17 showdown with a Miami team simply looking to play out the string, and a rematch with Carolina. Whether they can overcome injury and suspect defense will ultimately determine their playoff fate.
Eliminated
Minnesota Vikings (8-8)
Detroit Lions (8-8)
Dallas Cowboys (7-8-1)
Atlanta Falcons (6-9)
New Orleans Saints (5-10)
Washington Commanders (4-12)

Division Leaders
1. z-Denver Broncos (13-3, AFC West; +800)
2. x-New England Patriots (12-3, AFC East; +950)
3. x-Jacksonville Jaguars (11-4, AFC South; +1300)
4. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-6, AFC North; +4000)
The Steelers have the inside track on the only remaining playoff spot left in the AFC. A win over or tie with the Cleveland Browns will net them the AFC North title and clinch them the fourth seed in the conference.
Wild Card Teams
5. x-Buffalo Bills (11-4; +900)
6. x-Houston Texans (11-5; +1300)
7. x-Los Angeles Chargers (11-5; +2500)
The Chargers are the only team who are guaranteed a Wild Card spot after Saturday's loss to the Texans. Denver has clinched the AFC West crown, meaning Jim Harbaugh, Justin Herbert, and the bolts' path to the Super Bowl is paved with road games.
In the Hunt
Baltimore Ravens (8-8; +5000)
The Ravens kept their playoff hopes alive Saturday with a victory over the Green Bay Packers, thanks to a four-touchdown day from Derrick Henry. Their playoff hopes remain thin, though, and they will have to root for a Cleveland upset win Sunday to stay in the postseason mix.
Eliminated
Indianapolis Colts (8-7)
Miami Dolphins (6-9)
Kansas City Chiefs (6-10)
Cincinnati Bengals (5-10)
New York Jets (3-12)
Tennessee Titans (3-12)
Cleveland Browns (3-12)
Las Vegas Raiders (2-13)
