'Lot of Emotions,' Travis Kelce Reflects on Arrowhead Finale amid Retirement Rumors
Travis Kelce isn't making any official statements about his NFL future at this point, but it's not unreasonable to think he may have played his final home game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaking to reporters after the Chiefs' 20-13 loss to the Denver Broncos, Kelce said he felt "a whole lot of emotions" throughout the game.
"A whole lot of emotions," Kelce said afterward. "You've got everybody in the world watching you. You get to go out there with the young guys on prime-time television. Young guys getting an opportunity to taste what this NFL life is like."

Kelce was specifically asked about retirement, but said he would make that decision at a more appropriate time. The future Hall of Famer also noted he hasn't had any conversations about his plans with Patrick Mahomes.
"I'll let that be a decision I'll make with my family, friends, the Chiefs organization when the time comes," he said.
Kelce contemplated retirement at the end of last season before announcing he was coming back for another year.
The 36-year-old said last month he would wait until after the season to make any definitive statements about his future, but he will give the Chiefs plenty of advance notice so they can prepare if they need to make any changes to their offseason plans.
This has been a frustrating season for the Chiefs, culminating with Mahomes suffering a torn ACL in the same game they were eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2014.
Kelce has started all 16 games so far this season, recording 839 yards and five touchdowns. He is one of three tight ends in NFL history with at least 1,000 career receptions and 10,000 receiving yards, along with Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten.
The Chiefs will conclude the 2025 season on Jan. 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.
