Justin Jefferson Breaks Randy Moss Record, How Vikings WR Made NFL History vs. Lions

Jefferson reached 8,379 career receiving yards during the contest, surpassing Pro Football Hall of Fame wideout Randy Moss for the most by any NFL player through their first six seasons.

Jefferson caught four passes for a team-high 30 yards in Thursday's victory.
He's also recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards during each of his first five seasons in the NFL. This year, Jefferson needs 53 more yards to reach the 1,000-yard threshold.
The four-time Pro Bowler's consistent production is particularly impressive considering the variety of quarterbacks that he's played with in recent years. The Vikings have started Kirk Cousins, Sam Darnold, J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, Nick Mullens, Joshua Dobbs, Jaren Hall and Max Brosmer under center since the beginning of the 2023 season.
While Minnesota is outside the NFC playoff picture in 2025 after wrapping up a 14-3 finish last season, Jefferson's stellar play continues to be a reason for optimism moving forward.
