Latest on A.J. Brown's Injury Report Status for Eagles-Bills Amid NFL Playoff Picture

Paul KasabianDec 24, 2025

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown did not practice on Wednesday after getting his wisdom teeth taken out.

The 28-year-old Brown has caught 73 passes for 935 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games for the NFC East champion Eagles, who will take their 10-5 record to Western New York to face reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and the 11-4 Buffalo Bills on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.

The defending Super Bowl winners clinched the NFC East last Saturday after they defeated the Washington Commanders 29-18. At this juncture, the Eagles are more likely than not headed for the NFC's No. 3 seed, but they have an outside chance to sneak up to No. 2.

That could be appealing to Philadelphia, as a No. 2 seed would mean an automatic home game in the NFC Divisional round should the team win in the Wild Card round. They could still get that home game as a No. 3 seed but would need the No. 2 seed to lose in the Wild Card round to No. 7.

So there's something to play for down the stretch right now. With that being the case, it certainly behooves the Eagles to have Brown, who has been on fire the past five weeks (35 receptions, 478 yards and four touchdowns) after a slow start to the season.

There hasn't been a report indicating Brown would miss the Bills game at this juncture, but his status is one to monitor this week.
