How Ravens Execs View John Harbaugh amid Hot-Seat Buzz Reportedly Revealed
The Baltimore Ravens' struggles this season have raised some questions about head coach John Harbaugh's job security.
The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec reported that while Harbaugh has not lost his luster in the eyes of Ravens executives, they still will evaluate whether he's the right person to continue guiding the franchise.
"The organization's decision-makers believe he's one of the top coaches and leaders in the NFL," Zrebiec stated. "The decision (or lack thereof) will be about whether they believe he's still the right coach and right leader for the team."

Harbaugh was asked about his relationship with Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson on Wednesday in response to a column by Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun that insinuated there was dissension between the two of them:
Harbaugh has coached the Ravens since 2008 and led them to a Super Bowl title in 2012. While Baltimore is considered a perennial playoff contender, the team hasn't made it back to the Big Game since its last title win.
At 7-8, the Ravens could be eliminated from playoff contention this weekend with a loss against the Green Bay Packers (9-5-1) on Saturday or a win by the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers (9-6), who are facing the last-place Cleveland Browns (3-12) on Sunday.
Things could be even more bleak for Baltimore in Week 17, as the team could be forced to turn to backup quarterback Tyler Huntley against Green Bay. Jackson, who has already missed three games this year due to injuries, missed Wednesday's practice due to a back contusion and is in danger of being sidelined once again.
Harbaugh will need to have some luck on his side if he hopes to lead the Ravens to their fourth straight playoff appearance, but he could have even more work to do to convince Baltimore's front office that he should stick around beyond this season.
