NFL Rumors on Jordan Love, Jordan Davis and More Snubs from 2026 Pro Bowl Rosters

Doric SamDec 24, 2025

After the 2026 Pro Bowl rosters were announced this week, teams with snubbed players have made it clear that they're not happy.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano detailed some of the reactions to the top players who were left out of the Pro Bowl this season.

Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love seemed to be a shoe-in for the Pro Bowl before he was snubbed from the NFC roster. Graziano noted that the Packers "thought" the signal-caller "would have a good chance" to earn his first career selection, as he's third in the NFL in QBR. Graziano added that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold "is 12th and has more than twice as many interceptions as Love has this season."

While Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter earned his second straight Pro Bowl selection, Fowler reported that there's been "heavy chatter around the Eagles" regarding fellow defensive tackle Jordan Davis being left out in the cold. According to Fowler, while Carter has had a solid season, "if you ask the Eagles who has been their most dominant force up front this season, it's Davis without debate."

Los Angeles Chargers right tackle Joe Alt earned his first Pro Bowl selection, but making it after playing in just six games this season "raised some questions," per Fowler. Indianapolis Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann reportedly was considered "a surer bet."

Fowler also named Joey Porter Jr. of the Pittsburgh Steelers and DJ Turner II of the Cincinnati Bengals as cornerbacks who "made compelling cases" to be named to the Pro Bowl. However, it was noted that the recipients "were deserving."

Fowler went on to point out that "it feels as if several teams had too many Pro Bowl players." The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens had five and six selections, respectively, despite having losing records.

Meanwhile, the 11-4 Jacksonville Jaguars only had long-snapper Ross Matiscik as their lone Pro Bowl representative. Graziano reported that the Jags "would have liked to see Josh Hines-Allen get that recognition. Or Devin Lloyd and his five interceptions."

Typically, some Pro Bowl selections can't participate in the Games in February, so there's a strong chance that any of these snubs will be able to make their way onto the roster as an alternate when it's all said and done. For now, the full rosters are as follows:
