Andy Reid Discusses Travis Kelce's Chiefs Future Amid NFL Retirement Rumors
The Kansas City Chiefs have been eliminated from the playoffs and are just two games away from the end of the season.
One of the biggest questions heading into the offseason is whether star tight end Travis Kelce will call it a career. His head coach, Andy Reid, didn't give fans an answer about whether Thursday's game against the Denver Broncos will be Kelce's last game at Arrowhead Stadium.
"I don't know if it is or not. I haven't talked to him," Reid said, per The Athletic's Sam Jane.

Kelce, who is 36 and in his 13th NFL season, has plenty to keep him busy off the field. He and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, have built "New Heights" into one of the most popular sports podcasts. He's entered the acting space, notably appearing in "Happy Gilmore" earlier this year. He's also about to marry one of the most famous people in the world, Taylor Swift.
But as much as his off-the-field opportunities might be calling to him, Kelce showed this year that he still has something left in the tank. In 15 games, he's recorded 803 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
Whether Kelce plans to retire after this season remains to be seen, but fans at Arrowhead Stadium will likely give him a bigger-than-usual applause, just in case.
