WWE's Logan Paul Will Put Pokemon Card He Bought for Record $5.3M Up for Auction

Andrew PetersDec 23, 2025

Logan Paul has done well for himself as a YouTuber and WWE wrestler, and now he's investing his wealth in non-traditional ways.

Rather than investing in the stock market, he's focusing on Pokémon cards. Specifically, he said he plans to auction off the PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator card he bought in 2022 for $5.3 million.

Paul also made a bold claim, saying that he believes the Pokémon card industry has outperformed the stock market in the last 20 years.

"Pokemon as an asset class has outperformed the stock market by upwards of 3,000% in the last 20 years," he said. "It is a generational game and franchise that is the No. 1 highest-grossing and most popular franchise in the world. This card is the best out of all of them."

Paul also said that he spent his "entire net worth" on the card, which set the Guinness World Record for the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold. He'll look to earn that money and more back when he auctions it off in February.
