Cowboys' George Pickens Discusses How Pro Bowl Nod Impacts Contract Ahead of NFL FA
To no one's surprise, George Pickens earned his first Pro Bowl nod amid a breakout season for the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver.
The Pro Bowl season comes as a good time as Pickens prepares to enter free agency for the first time, but he said it won't change anything during contract talks.
"It improves my career but as far as contractually wise, I can just wait until the offseason; try to finish up this season on a positive good note," Pickens said, per ESPN's Todd Archer.

Ranking Worst NFL Contracts Ahead of 2026 Season
Pickens, who started his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers but was traded to the Cowboys ahead of the season, has recorded the third-most receiving yards (1,342) and the seventh-most touchdowns (9) in the NFL this year.
Pickens has had a strong start to his career but has emerged as one of the best receivers in the league in 2025. Now, his rookie deal is about to expire, and he's likely on his way to a big payday.
