Tennis legend Serena Williams celebrated the marriage of her sister, Venus, and Andrea Preti on Saturday.
"My sister's keeper," Serena wrote in a post on X. "Venus, where do I even begin? From backyard courts to the world stage, you've always led with grace, strength, and heart. Seeing you step into this next chapter so loved and radiant means everything to me. Forever proud to stand beside you."
Venus and Preti initially held a ceremony on Sept. 18 in Italy before celebrating their wedding for five days leading up to their marriage in Palm Beach, Florida.
"We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy," Venus told Alexandra Macon of Vogue. "But we didn't have enough time to do the paperworkโbecause I'm a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding."
The couple first met in 2024 during Milan Fashion Week and got engaged on Jan. 31, just six months later.
The Williams sisters recorded 14 Grand Slam women's doubles titles together, highlighted by a flawless 14-0 record in Grand Slam doubles finals.
Both Serena and Venus went on to have immensely successful singles careers and ended up tallying 23 Grand Slam singles titles and seven singles titles, respectively.
