The Dolphins are preparing to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday in the second-to-last game of the season.

Rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers, who started last Sunday as the Dolphins lost 45-21 to the Cincinnati Bengals, is expected to start.

Tagovailoa's future with the Dolphins is uncertain, given his $54 million in guaranteed salary for 2026. ESPN's Adam Schefter recently said it is likely he will be released this offseason, potentially putting him on track for a fresh start with a new franchise in 2026.
