Week 17 Waiver Wire Box Score Stat Projections for Top Fantasy Pickups and Sleepers
Only two weeks remain in the 2025 NFL season, which means that championship week has arrived in most season-long fantasy leagues. The good news is that managers won't have to deal with bye weeks.
The bad news, of course, is that managers will have to navigate injuries, bad matchups, and teams that have decided to rest starters.
Diving into the waiver wire with a title on the line is a less-than-ideal scenario, but it's often necessary. Here, you'll find a look at the top waiver targets for Week 17, along with some projections.
All picks and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
Tyler Shough, QB, New Orleans Saints

If you haven't been paying attention to the New Orleans Saints, A.) no one will blame you, and B.) you may have missed the memo that Tyler Shough has become a solid fantasy streamer.
The Saints rookie has averaged just 13.3 fantasy points this season but has topped 17 points in four straight games. He had a season-best 22.3 points in Week 15, and he could top that this week.
New Orleans is set to visit the Tennessee Titans, who have won two of three but who still aren't a very good team. Tennessee has surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
Shough, meanwhile, is still available in over 80 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Week 17 Projection: 272 passing yards, 2 TDs, 32 rushing yards, 1 Rushing TD
Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Fantasy managers may have also missed the recent rise of second-year Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum. While Kyren Williams still leads L.A.'s backfield, the Rams have progressively moved closer to a true two-back system.
As a result, Corum has racked up more than 13 fantasy points in four straight games. He should have a decent PPR floor this week against a good-not-great Atlanta Falcons defense.
Atlanta has surrendered the 17th-most fantasy points to opposing defenses this season. The Rams may also get out to an early lead and lean heavily on their ground game while trying to put away an inferior opponent.
Corum is still rostered in less than half of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Week 17 Projection: 71 rushing yards, 1 TD, 1 reception, 11 receiving yards
Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Managers will see Parker Washington on many "add" lists this week, and for good reason. He's coming off a spectacular outing against a great Denver Broncos defense, one he finished with 26.5 fantasy points.
Washington has been more than a one-game wonder, though. While his fantasy production has been up-and-down, he's emerged as a prolific piece of Jacksonville's passing attack. He now leads the team in both receptions (45) and receiving yards (645).
Yet, Washington is still available in over 70 percent of Yahoo leagues and in over 80 percent of ESPN leagues.
Washington should be a strong play this week against an Indianapolis Colts defense that has surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. For virtually any managers with questionable flex depth, he's a must-add.
Week 17 Projection: 5 receptions, 71 yards, 1 TD
Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears

Managers who need to make a waiver claim on a tight end should consider Chicago Bears rookie Colston Loveland this week.
Loveland is coming off an underwhelming game against the Green Bay Packers (six fantasy points), and he splits opportunities with fellow tight end Cole Kmet. However, he's had solid production when his boom-or-bust workload leads to a boom.
Loveland has topped double-digit fantasy points in three of his last five games.
This week, Loveland will battle a San Francisco 49ers team that can put up points in bunches but will also allow them. We may see an offensive track meet that gives Loveland repeated opportunities, and he should be able to take advantage. The 49ers have surrendered the 11th-most fantasy points to TEs.
Loveland is available in over half of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Week 17 Projection: 4 receptions, 49 yards, 1 TD
