NFL Pro Bowl Snubs and Top Reaction to Caleb Williams, 2026's Biggest Omissions

Julia StumbaughDec 23, 2025

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams won't be going to his first Pro Bowl in February.

Williams was left off the final 2026 Pro Bowl roster despite finishing third in the fan voting for quarterbacks.

The Los Angeles Rams' Matthew Stafford, Dallas Cowboy's Dak Prescott and Seattle Seahawks' Sam Darnold will be representing the NFC in his place.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams was meanwhile left out of the final Pro Bowl cut after not making the top ten in the fan vote.

Adams, who leads the NFL with 14 touchdown catches, was left off the NFC roster in favor of his teammate Puka Nacua alongside the Dallas Cowboys' George Pickens, Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The 2026 Pro Bowl is set to take place during the lead-up to Super Bowl LX this February in San Francisco.

Williams wasn't the only Bears player who dominated the fan vote but was left off the final roster.

Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons called out another snub in Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright:

The Bears overall finished at the top of ten position categories after fan voting, which counts for one third of Pro Bowl votes, but sent only three players in Joe Thuney, Kevin Byard and Drew Dalman to the event.

The Pro Bowl rosters were dropped two days after both the Bears and Jaguars officially clinched a playoff spot following a Lions loss in Week 16.

Both Williams and Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence have been instrumental to their teams' respective climbs back into the postseason.

Some fans felt both Williams and playoff-bound Denver Broncos signal caller Bo Nix deserved NFC Pro Bowl consideration over Dak Prescott now that the Dallas Cowboys have been officially eliminated from postseason contention.

Others questioned why Lawrence was left out of the AFC Pro Bowl picture after leading his team on an active six-game winning streak.

Other notable names left off the final roster were Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis and Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts.

The 2026 Pro Bowl is set to feature an AFC vs. NFC flag football game when it takes place in San Francisco on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The final rosters will be missing any players from the two teams set to compete for a Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 8.
