49ers Troll Colts With Horseshoe Meme After Brock Purdy-Philip Rivers Duel

The San Francisco 49ers had a little fun on social media after their epic 48-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football.

Monday night's game was a generational quarterback battle, as San Francisco's Brock Purdy went head-to-head with future Hall of Famer Philip Rivers, who put forth his best performance since coming out of retirement with Indianapolis.

Rivers threw for 277 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on 23-of-35 passing. However, it was Purdy who got the last laugh, completing 25 of his 34 passes for 295 yards, a career-high five touchdowns and an interception. Per ESPN's Nick Wagoner, he is now the first 49ers quarterback ever to throw five or more scores in a Monday night game.

After improving to 11-4, San Francisco already clinched a playoff spot and also remains in the running for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Things won't be easy for the 49ers as they close out the regular season against the Chicago Bears (11-4) and Seattle Seahawks (12-3), but if Purdy continues playing at a remarkable level, there could be more trolling opportunities in the team's future.
