He connected with Christian McCaffrey for two receiving touchdowns, while McCaffrey also added 117 rushing yards. George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, and Demarcus Robinson each found the end zone as well, and Dee Winters added a defensive spark with a pick-six.

Rivers countered with a strong performance of his own, throwing for 277 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while completing 23-of-35 passes. He connected with Alec Pierce for two touchdowns and 86 yards, and Jonathan Taylor added a rushing score for Indianapolis.

Fans took to social media to react to the quarterback battle, praising both signal-callers for delivering a memorable Monday night showdown.

The Colts entered the matchup in need of a win but fell to 8–7 with no path to winning the AFC South. Indianapolis remains No. 8 in the AFC Wild Card race, sitting just one spot outside the final playoff position. The 49ers, who had already clinched a postseason berth, improved to 11–4 with the victory.

San Francisco built a commanding 14-point lead by halftime before turning up the intensity in the second half, scoring on both third-quarter possessions and continuing to dominate on both sides of the ball in the fourth to put the game away.

The 49ers will face a tough home matchup next Sunday against the Chicago Bears, while the Colts will look to bounce back when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars.
