Chiefs President Eyes Hosting Future NFL Super Bowl at $3B Domed Stadium in Kansas
The Kansas City Chiefs have never hosted a Super Bowl, but team president Mark Donovan is hoping a new stadium will change that.
"We're going to bid really, really hard for it. We've got an amazing city with a track record of doing great things," Donovan said, per Jesse Newell of The Athletic ... We think this puts us on the map to be able to competitively compete to bring that."
The host city of the Super Bowl is, more often than not, one that sees warmer temperatures in February, like New Orleans, Miami and Los Angeles, but it's not out of the question for a colder city to host, especially if its stadium is domed.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In 2018, two years after US Bank Stadium opened, Minneapolis was the host city for the Super Bowl. Indianapolis also hosted the Super Bowl in 2012.
Kansas City is hoping to follow a similar path.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt announced Monday that the team is moving out of Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri and into Kansas starting in 2031. The decision comes after Jackson County, Missouri, voters rejected a 40-year extension of a local sales tax that would have funded major renovations at Arrowhead Stadium, along with a new stadium for the Kansas City Royals, in April 2024.
The stadium is expected to cost $3 billion, per ESPN.
The move into Kansas will mark the first time since 1972 that the Chiefs have left Arrowhead Stadium.
