Jake Paul Posts IG Photo Surrounded by Money on Plane After KO vs. Anthony Joshua

Jake Paul responded to this knockout loss to Anthony Joshua by flexing his money on Instagram.

Paul shared a photo of himself surrounded by piles of cash on a private plane in a Sunday social media post captioned, "The American Dream... Start yours today. Believe in it. Fail. Work. Fail. Learn. Fail. Don't ever stop."

Paul, who weighed in at almost 27 pounds lighter than Joshua ahead of the fight, was considered an underdog to his Olympic medalist and two-time former heavyweight champion opponent.

After predicting he would win via knockout in the fourth or fifth round, Paul ultimately took Joshua to six rounds before suffering the KO defeat.

Paul said in a Saturday social media post he had to undergo surgery on a broken jaw after the fight.

Reports on how much Paul made for his bout with Joshua are split. The Daily Mail reported in November that Joshua and Paul were expected to split a $187 million purse.

After Paul's upcoming matchup with Joshua was officially announced on Nov. 17, he named a new number in a cryptic social media post.

Paul has indicated he plans to return to cruiserweight following the fight. The former social media star-turned-boxer currently holds a career record of 12-2 with seven knockouts.
