'S--t, I Missed It,' Romeo Doubs Takes Blame for Packers' Loss to Bears After Fumble
Saturday's 22-16 loss to the rival Chicago Bears was a game to forget for the Green Bay Packers with quarterback Jordan Love exiting with an injury, but they likely still would have escaped with a win had Romeo Doubs recovered an onside kick in the final minutes of regulation.
Instead, the Bears recovered after he dropped it and suffered a wrist injury on the play.
"S---, I missed it," Doubs said, per ESPN's Rob Demovsky. "That's just this game, bro. I rep this s--- all week, and yeah, bro, somebody gotta be responsible, and I'm willing to take on 1000% of it."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value ๐
Chicago marched down the field on the ensuing possession and scored the game-tying touchdown in the last minute of regulation with a fourth-down pass from Caleb Williams to Jahdae Walker.
That wasn't the last mistake for Green Bay, as Malik Willis' fumbled snap on a fourth-down play during the opening possession of overtime gave the Bears the ball with the chance to win it. And the home team took full advantage when Williams hit DJ Moore with a perfectly placed deep ball on a 46-yard touchdown.
It seemed like the Packers were in full control for much of the game even with Love's injury, as they built a 16-6 advantage through the first 58 minutes.
However, the Bears cut the deficit to one score with a field goal and then recovered what proved to be the game-altering onside kick.
Throw in the busted coverage on the fourth-down touchdown to Walker and the fumbled snap in overtime, and Green Bay will surely be thinking about a handful of plays that could have altered the outcome.
Doubs' inability to haul in the onside kick was reminiscent of the NFC Championship Game loss to the Seattle Seahawks that ended the Packers' 2014 season. Brandon Bostick couldn't come down with a recovery in that one, and the Seahawks ended up rallying for an overtime win.
Saturday's game didn't have quite that high of stakes, but Chicago is now in control of the NFC North at 11-4. The 9-5-1 Packers will now have to win their final two games and get some help to come away with a division crown.
