DJ Moore Reacts to Caleb Williams' 'Iceman' Nickname After Bears' Win vs. Packers
Caleb Williams has delivered like there is ice in his veins during the biggest moments for the Chicago Bears all season, and Saturday was no different as he unleashed a game-winning 46-yard touchdown pass to DJ Moore in overtime against the rival Green Bay Packers.
"What do they call him, the Iceman?" Moore said of Williams after the 22-16 win, per Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic. "He just was cool, calm, and collected all game. And when we needed a big play, he was there to put it on the money."

The throw capped off an incredible and unlikely comeback for the NFC North leaders that saw them overcome a 16-6 deficit in the final two minutes.
Cairo Santos' field goal made it a one-score game, Josh Blackwell recovered the ensuing onside kick, Williams came through again with a fourth-down touchdown pass to Jahdae Walker that forced overtime, the defense forced a turnover on downs to start the extra period and then No. 18 found Moore for the win.
Just like that, the Bears seized full control of the NFC North at 11-4 and created some separation over the 9-5-1 Packers with two games remaining in the regular season.
Williams stressed the importance of Chicago continuing to "fight until the clock says zero" after the win, which drew another reaction from Moore:
The Bears have fought until the end throughout the season with a number of dramatic victories.
Williams directed game-winning scoring drives in the final two minutes of a 25-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, 25-24 win over the Washington Commanders, 47-42 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-20 win over the New York Giants and a 19-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
Perhaps that type of success in one-score games is unsustainable over the course of multiple seasons, but Chicago finds itself battling for the No. 1 seed in the NFC in 2025 as a result of its ability to consistently stay calm and collected with the game hanging in the balance.
Those fourth-quarter moments have led to Williams being called the Iceman, and he will have the opportunity to continue earning that nickname in crunch time in the playoffs if the Bears finish strong down the stretch.
