DJ Moore Says 'It's F The Packers Always' After Catching Bears' Game-Winning TD in OT
Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore was happy to help defeat a NFC North rival Saturday night by catching the overtime touchdown pass that sealed a Week 16 comeback victory over the Green Bay Packers.
"It means a lot," Moore told Fox Sports' Tom Rinaldi about the 22-16 overtime win. "And at the end of the day, it's F the Packers, always."
The Bears were trailing by seven points Saturday night when they recovered a Packers onside kick to get the ball back in the final two minutes of regulation.
After Jahdae Walker caught a touchdown pass to send the game to extra time, the Bears got another shot to win at all after Packers backup quarterback Malik Willis fumbled a fourth-down snap in overtime.
Bears signal caller Caleb Williams then found Moore on a 46-yard touchdown pass to end the game.
Moore finished out the win having recorded a team-high five catches and 97 receiving yards.
The comeback win allowed the Bears (11-4) to take control of the NFC North over the Packers (9-5-1).
Should the Pittsburgh Steelers tie or defeat the Detroit Lions on Sunday, the Bears will officially secure their ticket to the 2025 postseason.
The Packers' hopes of their own trip to the playoffs will hinge at least in part on the status of quarterback Jordan Love, who was ruled out of Saturday's loss after suffering a concussion on a hit in the second quarter.
