Jake Paul Shares Photo After Jaw Surgery, Reveals Extent of Injuries from Joshua KO
Jake Paul will be on a liquid diet for at least the next week after undergoing surgery to repair the injuries he sustained in his loss to Anthony Joshua on Friday.
In a post on Instagram, Paul revealed he had surgery on his jaw that required two titanium plates, removal of some teeth and will leave him eating liquids for the next seven days.

Paul was knocked down a total of four times in the fight, with the final one resulting in a knockout. He posted a picture of his X-ray after the bout that showed his jaw was broken in two places.
Most Valuable Promotions CEO Nakisa Bidarian said after the fight that typical recovery time from a broken jaw is four to six weeks. It's unclear if Paul will require additional time since his jaw had two fractures that required plates to be put in.
The fight played out how most analysts expected going in. Joshua completely overpowered Paul, whose strategy largely consisted of trying to avoid getting hit. It worked for a little while, as Joshua only landed 17 strikes through the first four rounds.
Things turned quickly in the fifth when Joshua connected on 20 of his 45 total punches thrown, including 14 of 26 power strikes. He followed it up by landing eight more power punches in the sixth, with the final one resulting in the knockout.
Friday's loss marked the first time in Paul's career as an amateur or professional boxer that he has been knocked out.
