Tom Brady's Influence on Pete Carroll's Raiders Job Security Revealed Amid NFL Rumors
Amid a disappointing 2025 season for Pete Carroll in his first year as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, his future with the organization could be influenced by Tom Brady's decision-making power.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Brady is expected to "increase his presence" within the Raiders front office as the season winds down.
The report notes that Brady hasn't been around the Raiders' building for most of the season due to his Fox broadcasting responsibilities and other business interests.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brady has had a 10 percent ownership stake in the Raiders since October 2024, but all indications are his voice is very large in many of the moves they make. The seven-time Super Bowl champion reportedly had a big influence in the hiring of Chip Kelly as offensive coordinator and trade for Geno Smith in the offseason.
When the Raiders were searching for a head coach after last season, Brady helped in the interview with Ben Johnson when he was considered their preferred target before the Chicago Bears hired him.
Carroll's return to the NFL with the Raiders after sitting out the 2024 season has not gone well. They are 2-12 with the worst offense in the league by points per game.
Kelly, who was given the richest contract for an offensive coordinator in the NFL during the offseason, was fired on Nov. 23.
The Raiders could set a franchise single-season record with 15 losses if they lose their final three games. Their only 14-loss season was in 2006 when they had the worst record in the NFL.
