Juan Soto, Rory McIlroy, More Attend Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua Boxing Fight in Photos
The stars were out for the boxing match between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua on Friday night at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto and five-time major champion Rory McIlroy were among several celebrities in attendance for the heavyweight bout.
Paul enters the fight looking for what would undoubtedly be the most significant victory of his career. He owns a 12-1 record with seven knockouts, although many of the former YouTuber's wins have come against elder boxers such as Mike Tyson or former MMA stars including Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.
Still, Paul has won six straight fights and defeated Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision during his most recent appearance in June.
Meanwhile, Joshua is attempting to bounce back from a loss to Daniel Dubois in his last fight. The two-time unified heavyweight champion enters Friday's clash with a 28-4 record, including 25 knockouts.
Joshua has remained sharp in recent years despite his defeat at the hands of Dubois, recording wins over Francis Ngannou, Jermaine Franklin Jr., Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin since his last loss to Oleksandr Usyk in Aug. 2022.
