Drake London, Josh Jacobs NFL Injury Statuses and Fantasy Impact for Week 16

Joe TanseyDec 19, 2025

One of the most productive wide receivers in fantasy football this season will be back on the field in Week 16.

Drake London is expected to return for the Atlanta Falcons. That's great news for fantasy football players in need of his help during the opening weekend of playoffs in most leagues.

The outlook isn't as great with Josh Jacobs, who is questionable for the Green Bay Packers' Saturday night clash with the Chicago Bears. Jacobs did not participant in practice for most of the week.

Drake London Set to Return

Drake London officially has a questionable diagnosis, but Falcons head coach Raheem Morris confirmed the star wide out will play, per ESPN.com's Marc Raimondi.

London missed the last four Falcons games with a knee injury.

Prior to the injury, London put up 810 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 60 receptions.

London reeled off three consecutive 100-yard games in his final three appearances prior to the injury layoff.

The Atlanta offense has a favorable matchup on its hands in Week 16 against an Arizona Cardinals defense that allowed 85 points across the last two weeks.

Arizona allowed over 200 passing yards in three of its last four contests. If London is on a regular snap count, he should tear apart the Cardinals secondary.

London's return should provide a boost to Kirk Cousins' fantasy stock, but he will naturally take away from Kyle Pitts, Darnell Mooney and others that stepped up in the Atlanta passing game while the star wide out was out.

Josh Jacobs Listed as Questionable After Week of Missed Practices

Josh Jacobs is listed as questionable with knee and ankle ailments.

However, he did not practice Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday in the buildup to the Packers' Saturday NFC North clash with the Bears.

The three DNPs in a row is far more concerning than the questionable designation from a fantasy football perspective.

Emanuel Wilson is the natural replacement for Jacobs, but if the Green Bay backup is unavailable, there will be plenty of late options to choose from off the waiver-wire since the Packers play on Saturday night.

Miami's Jaylen Wright is a fascinating sleeper option because of the Dolphins' situation and the matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, who give up the most rushing yards to opposing running backs.

The Dolphins might be more inclined to start younger players alongside Quinn Ewers with Tua Tagovailoa benched.

Minnesota's Jordan Mason is worth a look as well since the Vikings face a New York Giants defense that's allowed the second-most rushing yards to opposing running backs.

Arizona's Michael Carter, Washington's Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Isaiah Davis of the New York Jets are other names to consider if Jacobs is out and Wilson is unavailable in your leagues.
