Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bland signed a four-year $90 million deal last August. For the season, the four-year veteran has amassed 73 tackles (45 solo) with six pass breakups and one interception, which was returned for a 68-yard touchdown.
Dallas selected Bland, a former Sacramento State and Fresno State star, with a fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft. He quickly became a playmaker in his rookie year, amassing five interceptions and 54 tackles.
Bland then broke out and became a superstar in 2023, accumulating an NFL record five interceptions returned for touchdowns. He had an NFL-high nine picks on the year overall and earned First Team All-Pro honors as well.
Unfortunately, the aforementioned left foot injury forced him to have surgery and held him to seven games in 2024. He started all seven contests and had 41 tackles.
Now Bland's season appears to be truncated yet again, an unfortunate occurrence for a promising player. Hopefully he'll be able to return strong and 100 percent in time for the 2026 season.
