Colts' Anthony Richardson Discusses Learning from Philip Rivers After QB's NFL Return
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson spoke about what he's learned from 44-year-old signal-caller and teammate Philip Rivers in a chat with reporters on Thursday.
"I mean, he's a vet, he's a pro, you know, he handles his business and he knows how to ask the right questions to get information that will help him out on the field, I take that from him, I actually met with him last year a little bit just learning some football, so I know him a little bit, and he's a great guy," Richardson said.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rivers, who has been retired since playing the 2020 season, signed with the Colts last week after quarterback Daniel Jones was lost for the year with a torn Achilles. Richardson has been out ever since suffering an orbital fracture during a freak accident in pregame warmups on Oct. 11. However, the Colts opened his 21-day practice window on Thursday, a big step toward him working his way back to the field.
The Colts opted to sign Rivers and start him Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Rivers completed 18-of-27 passes for 120 yards, one touchdown and one interception in an 18-16 loss. He'll get the start again on Monday when the Colts host the San Francisco 49ers.
