Jake Paul Calls Out Anthony Joshua, Says He's 'Better Boxer' Ahead of Fight
Jake Paul expressed his belief that he's a better boxer than Anthony Joshua ahead of their upcoming heavyweight fight.
"I feel super calm, and I think the bigger the moment and the bigger the occasion, I just rise to it," Paul told reporters Tuesday, via Farah Hannoun and Danny Segura of MMA Junkie. "I'm just prepared for these types of moments. So, currently not a ton of nerves to be honest. On paper, the cards are stacked against me. But really in terms of boxing, I'm a better boxer than AJ, which is hilarious to say, but he's got two left feet. He's stiff. If I was his coach, I'd put him in a dance class first before trying to box."

"And really (I've just brought in) the right sparring partners to help me prepare so I can get looks that are similar to him, and that's really just been the strategy, but I'm just going to go in there and display all my skills," he added.
While Paul boasts a 12-1 record with seven knockouts, the former YouTube star hasn't faced an opponent as tough as Joshua yet. He's beaten elder MMA legends including Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz as well as aging boxers Julio César Chávez Jr. and Mike Tyson.
Joshua owns a record of 28-4, highlighted by 25 knockouts. He's a former two-time unified WBO, IBF, and WBA heavyweight champion, although it's worth noting that he suffered a shocking loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. in Dec. 2019.
Paul will be looking to pull off a similar upset when the two face off on Friday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
