Tyreek Hill Responds to Tua Tagovailoa Benching with Cryptic Post amid Dolphins Rumors
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill authored a cryptic post after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was reportedly benched for rookie Quinn Ewers on Wednesday.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel left the door open for a quarterback change while speaking to reporters on Tuesday, one day after the team's 28-15 road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"I think the quarterback play last night was not good enough, and so for me, everything's on the table," McDaniel said.
It's not entirely clear what Hill meant by the post, but the best guess is that he's saying his own time with the Dolphins could be up.
Hill is under contract for one more season, but he's openly discussed retirement, per remarks made on ex-Dolphins teammate Terron Armstead's The Set podcast in October.
"Right now, I'm happy with being with my kids," Hill said (h/t Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post). "I'm happy with the career that I've had and I love playing football. I love it. But it, man, but it takes a lot, man, to be the best and to stay at the top... And I'm at the point now where I need to have a conversation with Mom, family, everybody. Like I said, wherever my mind is at the time, the decision to be made, but I just know right now I feel like I haven't had time to just live in the moment, and just be in the moment with my family."
Hill appeared to make mention of Armstead in relation to Tua's demotion on Wednesday:
Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports also reported in early October that league sources expect Hill to be released before the 2026 league year begins in March.
Either way, it looks like Hill's time with the Dolphins is coming to an end, and the QB change is just icing on the cake.
Hill is recovering from dislocated left knee and multiple torn ligaments, including the ACL, suffered during his team's 27-21 win over the New York Jets on Sept. 21.
The 10-year veteran began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs before being traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2022. He's a five-time First Team All-Pro and eight-time Pro Bowler who has amassed 12,182 total yards and 90 touchdowns over his career.
