Every NFL Team's Dream Scenario in Final Weeks of 2025 Season
So, here we are. All the byes are done, and every NFL team is staring at a final three-week stretch to wrap up what has been a wild 2025 season throughout the league.
It's been a dream year for many, and a nightmare for others. That can still change for most teams, though.
Let's look at the dream scenarios that still remain for each of the 32 NFL clubs.
AFC East

Buffalo Bills
They carry momentum from that comeback victory in New England, finish 3-0, and get a ton of help to secure the AFC's top seed and a first-round bye. Of course, none of that matters if they find a way to win their first-ever Super Bowl anyway. That's the obvious and unavoidable dream in Western New York.
Miami Dolphins
They shut it down following a Monday night wakeup call in Pittsburgh, drop their last three games and maximize their draft capital for the 2026 offseason.
New England Patriots
Beat the Ravens on the road in Week 16 to show some much-needed resiliency, then clinch the AFC East title by taking care of the division-rival Jets and/or Dolphins to close out the regular season.
New York Jets
They lose out to the Saints, Patriots and Bills with no major injuries and see continued progress from their young offensive linemen and receivers. And with some help, they land the No. 1 overall pick to gain their pick of the quarterback litter in the 2026 draft.
AFC North

Baltimore Ravens
They rebound to steal the division crown from the Steelers with a Week 18 victory in Pittsburgh and then capitalize on that momentum by making a surprise low-pressure run to the Super Bowl in a conference that lacks a dominant team.
Cincinnati Bengals
Everybody stays healthy, and they lose to both Arizona and Cleveland to land a primo pick in the 2026 draft ahead of a critical offseason.
Cleveland Browns
Everybody stays healthy, they see major progress from Shedeur Sanders and don't accidentally upset the Bills, Steelers or Bengals—a scenario that lands them a top-four selection in April's draft.
Pittsburgh Steelers: They beat the rival Ravens at home to clinch the division title in Week 18 and carry that vibe into the postseason to win their first playoff game since 2016.
AFC South

Houston Texans
Win out against the Raiders, Chargers and Colts, get some help from the Jaguars to capture the division, and then make a dent in the playoffs with C.J. Stroud and a jacked defense. It's all possible.
Indianapolis Colts
Stay healthy and give the fans a few memorable stories. Maybe a memorable Philip Rivers victory or two, potentially even a Jonathan Taylor Offensive Player of the Year win.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Beat the Broncos and win out to post 13 victories for the second time in franchise history, capturing the division title in the process. Then take care of business in a playoff home game or two to set up an exciting offseason.
Tennessee Titans
No major injuries and three losses to the Chiefs, Saints and Jaguars, resulting in another top-three draft pick as the rebuild continues.
AFC West

Denver Broncos
Win two of their final three games to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC for the first time since 2015, then ride that defense back to a first Super Bowl since that same year.
Kansas City Chiefs
No more crushing injuries will be the closest thing to a non-nightmare dream at this point in Kansas City.
Las Vegas Raiders
Lose out, land the No. 1 pick in the draft and make the right call on the next franchise quarterback in April.
Los Angeles Chargers
There's still a faint path to a first-round bye, but the more realistic dream for a Chargers team on a roll is to win out and get some help from either the Jaguars or Chiefs against Denver in Week 16 or 17. That would result in a surprise AFC West title for the first time since 2009.
NFC East

Dallas Cowboys
There's only one way left for the dream not to end again in Dallas. Got to beat the Chargers, Commanders and Giants and pray the Eagles lose to the Commanders, Bills and Commanders. That would result in a shocking NFC East crown for the Cowboys.
New York Giants
Continued progress from Jaxson Dart, no killer injuries and three losses to secure the top pick in the draft for the first time since 1965.
Philadelphia Eagles
Just win another game to get back to the dance and take some momentum into the playoffs for another Super Bowl run.
Washington Commanders
Don't accidentally beat the Eagles or Cowboys, and don't suffer any injuries that could impact 2026.
NFC North

Chicago Bears
Wins over both the Packers and Lions at home to clinch the team's first NFC North title since 2018 would make this a dream maiden season for Ben Johnson in Chicago.
Detroit Lions
Just getting back to the playoffs has to be the primary goal at this point, but winning out combined with major collapses from Chicago (tough schedule) and Green Bay (just lost its best player) would result in a dream comeback to steal the division.
Green Bay Packers
Beat the Bears Saturday and then hold on for that division crown before rallying for a Super Bowl run.
Minnesota Vikings
Lose out despite superb play from J.J. McCarthy, stay healthy and enjoy a primo draft pick knowing they might have their franchise quarterback after all.
NFC South

Atlanta Falcons
There's not much dreaming left this season in Atlanta. Just don't stumble into any more wins or injuries.
Carolina Panthers
Taking down the rival Buccaneers twice in the final three weeks to grab the division title would be an absolute dream for a team that wasn't supposed to be overly competitive in 2025.
New Orleans Saints
More progress from rookie quarterback Tyler Shough, no crippling injuries and three losses to maximize draft capital as the rebuild continues.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Taking care of business against the upstart Panthers twice in the final three weeks to secure their fifth consecutive division title and set up a surprise Super Bowl run for a team with a nice mix of talent and experience.

Arizona Cardinals
This is another case of "closest thing to a dream" being a healthy and win-free final few weeks to set themselves up best for what could be a busy offseason.
Los Angeles Rams
Stomp on the Seahawks in Seattle, lock up the No. 1 seed and use their talent and experience to ride all the way to the Super Bowl at home. Have Matthew Stafford walk away an MVP and two-time Super Bowl champ.
San Francisco 49ers
Win out and get some major help from the Rams and Seahawks to capture an improbable division title despite a slew of major injuries. Anything can happen from there.
Seattle Seahawks
Beat three NFC playoff contenders in a row to land the top seed in the conference and finish the season on a seven-game winning streak.
