Del Sol HS Girls Basketball Team Wins 104-1, Full Box Score Breakdown from Wild Win

The word blowout doesn't begin to describe what unfolded between Del Sol and Cheyenne in girls high school basketball on Dec. 10.

Del Sol won 104-1, with Cheyenne's lone point coming on a free throw in the first quarter.

According to MaxPreps, senior Ricana Taylor had a game-high 30 points and registered 14 steals for the Dragons. Sophomore Ge Ge Pickens chipped in with 22 points and eight steals, while Morgan White, Laylah-Rae Davis and Yaremi Alvarez had 10 points apiece.

As a team, Del Sol shot 60 percent from the floor and had offensive rebounds on 19 of its 34 misses.

The Dragons are a perfect 10-0 on the season and has outscored opponents 685-281 overall. Prior to the Cheyenne game, it beat Legacy and Cimarron-Memorial in successive days, allowing 51 combined points.

Del Sol 13th in Rivals' composite rankings for the state of Nevada.

As great as Del Sol's offensive outburst was, it doesn't register very highly on the historical scale for girls. Hall of Famer Cheryl Miller famously scored 105 points in an 1982 game, while three-time WNBA MVP Lisa Leslie once dropped 101 points in a single half.

Too bad Cheyenne couldn't bring Leslie off the bench.
