Mike Tomlin Matches Historic Bill Belichick Feat for Consecutive Non-Losing Seasons
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has matched Bill Belichick's streak of 19 straight non-losing seasons after Sunday's wild 29-24 victory over the Detroit Lions.
Tomlin has never overseen a losing season as the Steelers' head coach after the ex-Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator joined Pittsburgh in 2007. He's amassed an all-time record of 192-113-2 with the Steelers. In addition, Pittsburgh has won two AFC titles and a Super Bowl under the 53-year-old.

With the win, the Steelers' record improves to 9-6, which currently puts them two games ahead of the Baltimore Ravens in the win column. Baltimore hosts the New England Patriots on Sunday night.
Pittsburgh and Baltimore will meet for the second time in Week 18.
It's an incredible resume for Tomlin, who now inches a little closer to former Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry's record of 21 straight non-losing seasons (1965-1985). Belichick amassed his 19 seasons from 2001-2019 with the Patriots.
As a team, Pittsburgh has 22 straight non-losing seasons dating back to 2004, the year that rookie quarterback Ben Roethlisberger arrived in town and helped the Steelers achieve a franchise-best 15-1 regular-season mark. That feat is first all-time ahead of the Dallas Cowboys (1965-1985).
