Edge
2 of 6
Edge defender was considered a need for the Commanders during last year's draft, but the organization opted to go in a different direction. Since Von Miller is about to be a 37-year-old free agent, the Commanders should make adding a pass-rusher a high priority in the offseason.
Rueben Bain Jr., Miami (No. 2)
David Bailey, Texas Tech (No. 12)
Cashius Howell, Texas A&M (No. 13)
No. 2 Wide Receiver
3 of 6
The Commanders recognized that they needed to get a No. 2 receiver next to Terry McLaurin by trading for Deebo Samuel last offseason. But Samuel is in a contract year, so it's back to square one when it comes to getting another weapon for Jayden Daniels.
Carnell Tate, Ohio State (No. 8)
Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State (No. 11)
KC Concepcion, Texas A&M (No. 17)
Safety
4 of 6
It's no secret that Washington's defense could use some help on the back end. Safety is widely considered one of their top needs seeing as Will Harris and Quan Martin aren't getting the job done.
Caleb Downs, Ohio State (No. 1)
Zakee Wheatley, Penn State (No. 26)
Dillon Thieneman, Oregon (No. 29)
Cornerback
5 of 6
Washington's pass defense has been a major issue this season, and the Marshon Lattimore trade has not worked out. Lattimore will be coming off a torn ACL and has no dead money left on his contract, per Over The Cap, while Jonathan Jones and Noah Igbinoghene are impending free agents.
Mansoor Delane, LSU (No. 3)
Jermod McCoy, Tennessee (No. 7)
Avieon Terrell, Clemson (No. 20)
Guard
6 of 6
While Chris Paul stepped up this season and became a solid staring guard, his contract is set to expire. Making sure Daniels is well-protected, especially after a season filled with injuries for the young quarterback, should be one of the organization's top priorities this offseason.
Francis Mauigoa, Miami (No. 16)
Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State (No. 25)
Emmanuel Pregnon, Oregon (No. 54)
