NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year 2025-26 Odds Shift Amid TreVeyon Henderson's Surge

TreVeyon Henderson's slow start to the season is firmly in the rearview mirror, and he is now the favorite to take home the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook as of Monday at 6:30 p.m. ET, the New England Patriots running back checks in with +185 odds (bet $100 to win $185). He is slightly ahead of his former Ohio State teammate and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (+205) in the race for the award.

That Henderson is now the favorite is rather remarkable considering he was +10,000 just one month ago.

Henderson failed to rush for more than 32 yards in any of his first seven career games and was something of an afterthought in New England's offense. Fantasy managers were surely frustrated with his lack of usage, and it appeared as if the second-round pick would have to wait until his second season to make an impact.

Since then, he has run for at least 55 yards in each of the last seven games, including when he tallied 147 yards on the ground against Tampa Bay and 148 yards in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Henderson also has seven touchdowns during that timeframe, including when he scored three in a win over the New York Jets on Nov. 13.

The Ohio State product now has 773 rushing yards, 212 receiving yards and eight touchdowns with three games remaining and an opportunity to run for more than 1,000 yards in his first season in the NFL.

That he is doing it for a Patriots team that is 11-3 and sitting atop the AFC East only helps his chances and will put him under more of a spotlight in the closing stretch as he attempts to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year and help lead his team to a division title.
